Quintek Names Former City of Santa Monica, CA Superintendent of MSW as Director of Government Services

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 12, 2006 -- Quintek Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: QTEK), a global provider of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and best-of-breed technology consulting services, today announced that it has appointed Mr. Nick Hare as its Director of Government Services. Hare will be leading Quintek's efforts in procuring government BPO contracts.

Hare served with the City of Santa Monica, California Municipal Solid Waste division from 1996 to 2004. He most recently served as Solid Waste Systems Superintendent, managing an annual budget of $14 million and over 60 employees. He worked directly with the purchasing division to develop bid specifications for new purchases and request for proposals (RFP). In this function Hare procured capital purchases in excess of $13 million. Prior to his role with the City of Santa Monica, he served as the community planner for the town of Frisco, Colorado where he developed long-term and short-term land use plans, and assisted local officials with decisions concerning social, economic, and environmental problems and procured government grants.

Nick received a Bachelors of Science degree in Geography in 1993 from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and a Masters of Science, Community and Regional Planning from the University of Texas, Austin in 1995.
