Qumu Announces OEM Program for Enterprise Video Communications Solutions

Polycom First to Market With Integrated Video Content Management Solution That Bridges Video Streaming With Video Conferencing

EMERYVILLE, CA--(Marketwire - April 29, 2008) - Qumu, Inc., the leader in Enterprise Video Communications (EVC), announced the Qumu OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) program, which enables independent software vendors (ISVs), device manufacturers, and application service providers (ASPs), to quickly bring to market tightly integrated, private-labeled applications from Qumu, including video content management, video program distribution, and video portals. Under the OEM program, partners can quickly add scalable and secure enterprise video communications features including video asset management, categorization, webcast registration, search and retrieval, integration with distribution systems, and security and authentication.

Polycom, Inc. is the first partner to market Qumu technology through this program. Polycom offers a video content management solution that bridges video streaming with video conferencing. Polycom's Video Media Center™ (VMC 1000) is an appliance-based solution that seamlessly integrates video content derived from events captured by video conferencing and shared either live or on demand into enterprise unified communications environments.
