RAE Systems Promotes Ryan Watson to VP of Sales for Americas

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - April 24, 2008) - RAE Systems Inc. (AMEX: RAE), a leader in delivering innovative sensor solutions to serve industrial, energy, environmental and government safety markets worldwide, announced the promotion of Ryan Watson to the new vice president of sales in the Americas.

Watson joined RAE Systems as a Regional Sales Manager in 1999 and was promoted to director of the Eastern U.S. and Canadian sales in January 2007. In this position, Watson will lead the Americas' sales operations including channel management, marketing, product marketing and inside sales. Prior to joining RAE Systems, he held various positions in the industrial safety and environmental management industries. Watson graduated from the University of Missouri with a bachelor of science degree in health and environmental science.
