RCN TV Airing Saturday, November 14 Patriot League College Football Game Live

Easton, PA's Lafayette College to Battle Worcester, MA's College of the Holy Cross

LEHIGH VALLEY, PA--(Marketwire - November 13, 2009) - RCN-PA announced today that RCN TV is televising the Saturday, November 14 Lafayette College vs. College of the Holy Cross Patriot League Championship football game live from Fitton Field in Worcester, MA.

Airing exclusively on RCN TV Channel 4 (Lehigh Valley), Channel 34 (Boston), and Channel 8 in Washington, D.C., and New York City at 12:30pm EST, the game will be covered by RCN's experienced on-air team of Gary Laubach, John Leone and Dan Mowdy. RCN customers will enjoy the team's play-by-play and color commentary on a game that will determine the champion of the 2009 NCAA Division I Patriot League.

Partnering with the Lafayette Sports Network, RCN will air the Inside Lafayette Football pre-game show at 12 noon EST. A replay of the game is scheduled for Monday, November 16 at 5pm EST.

No. 13 ranked Holy Cross is the No. 1 scoring offense in the league, averaging 34.8 points per game. No. 20 ranked Lafayette is the No. 1 scoring defense, allowing just 19.6 points per game.

"This game could prove to be a really exciting match-up, and our customers won't miss out if they aren't able to watch it live," added Nungester. "To provide more viewing opportunities, we'll be adding it to our free Video ON DEMAND library in all of our markets, allowing our customers to watch it whenever they want, as many times as they want."

RCN will be broadcasting the game on its local channel in all of its service areas. To view RCN's Video ON DEMAND, customers with a digital box may go to channel 001 and select RCN TV.
