About Dr. Carl Basamania

Currently in private practice with Triangle Orthopaedic Associates, Dr. Basamania is a member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Society. He was formerly the Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery Service at Durham Veteran's Affairs Medical Center and Assistant Professor at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Basamania has numerous publications and a number of awards for his military achievements, such as the Legion of Merit medal and the Order of Military Medical Merit Award in 1999.
