WEST HARTFORD, CT--(Marketwire - January 21, 2010) - ORLive, your destination for live and on-demand surgery video, celebrates 10 years of presenting medical video to the world on the internet by recognizing the best premium programming appearing on ORLive during 2009, and requesting viewer participation in determining the recipient of the first annual "ORLive Video of the Year" award.

The "Best of 2009" awards mark our 10th Anniversary and celebrate a decade of ORLive presenting the very best of medical content to the world on the Internet. The ORLive editorial board selected 12 finalists that met the following notable criteria for presentation and online application:

--  Stretched the boundaries of Internet broadcasting;
--  Used the online medium to effectively engage audiences;
--  Presented clinically unique content; and
--  Presented content found only on ORLive.

Online voting to select the "ORLive Video of the Year" program is taking place now on the Best of 2009 Channel on ORLive. Subscribing ORLive viewers will have the opportunity to vote for their choice for the "ORLive Video of the Year," and will be entered into a drawing for an iPod Touch loaded with the winning video. You can vote now through midnight Eastern Standard Time on January 25th.

The program receiving the highest number of votes will be named the "ORLive Video of the Year 2009" and honored in a featured "Made for Webcast" special presentation to air January 27, 2010.
