RX Extends Drumlummon D-Block Zone With High-Grade Gold Over Width

TORONTO, CANADA--(Marketwire - Feb. 9, 2010) - RX Exploration Inc. (CNSX:RXE) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has extended the high grade D-Block Zone at the Drumlummon Mine, Marysville, Montana with three, and possibly four, drill holes.

D-Block Drill Holes

The three confirmed D-Block drill holes, provided below, returned 0.283 (9.83 g/t) to 0.618 opt (21.16 g/t) gold over core lengths of 18 to 22 feet (5.5m to 6.7m) with estimated true widths shown in the tables below. They were drilled on the south end of the D-Block Zone and have extended the D-Block mineralization to a strike length of 141 feet (43m). Intercepts include:

Drilling is continuing to the south into the D-Block footwall and into areas that the previous operators left un-mined.

South of "D" Block

A fourth hole (DDH_10_120) was drilled 100 feet (30m) south of the furthest south "D" Block drilling.

This hole returned 26 feet (8m) of 0.316 opt (10.8g/t) gold and 0.91 opt (31g/t) silver within a larger intersection of 44 feet (30m) of 0.208 opt (7.12g/t) gold and 0.73 opt (25g/t) silver. The target here is an unmined area extending to the number 2 shaft which is located 140 feet (42m) to the south.

Further drilling will be required to determine whether this is an extension of the D-Block or a new zone.

High Grade Exploration Raise

The Company's November 30, 2009 release described an exploration raise that was driven up from the 400 level on a newly discovered narrow vein system situated just north of the D-Block Zone. Some 280 tons of material recovered from the raise had a diluted average grade of 0.501opt (17.1g/t) gold and 23.2 opt (79.52g/t) silver. The raise is still headed in ore.

A hole drilled recently to follow-up on this system hit a 4 foot (1.2m) intercept, from 32 to 36 feet (9.7 to 11m), that returned 0.403 opt (13.8g/t) gold and 2.77 opt (94.8g/t) silver. This is near true width and extends the newly discovered high grade vein to 30 feet (9.1m) below the 400 level. This hole, DDH-09-105, was drilled from Drill Station #3 East at -50 degrees and an azimuth of 310 degrees.

Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QC/QA)

All drill core is logged and cut in half with diamond saw or core splitter. One half is bagged and shipped to Norris Lab in Norris, MT, while the other half is archived and stored on site. All assay results were determined using fire assay, the method of choice for gold analysis. For QC/QA purposes standards, blanks, and repeats are randomly inserted into the sample stream. Selected samples are sent to ALS Chemex Lab, Elko, NV for verification assaying.
