Radisson Mining Resources Inc.: Encouraging Results of First Diamond Drill Hole at Dryden Molybdenum Project

ROUYN-NORANDA, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 11, 2007) - Radisson Mining Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:RDS) is pleased to announce the results of the drill program at its Highway Showing molybdenum property (the "Property") south of Dryden, Ontario. The Property consists of 32 claim units (512 ha), of which 31 units are owned by the Company, with one unit optioned from Sherridon Johnson of Dryden. In total, Radisson has four molybdenum properties consisting of 220 claim units (3520 ha) in the area.

The first hole (RD-06-01) intersected two zones of visible molybdenum mineralization. The upper zone is a new discovery, not directly related to that seen in the nearby roadcut located approximately 75m away. Visible molybdenum mineralization occurs from 8.5m to 17.7m (9.2m core length). Anomalous molybdenum analyses include 0.488 lbs/ton over 10.8m, including 1.001 lbs/ton over 2.9m., in a zone of interlayered felsic granite and granodiorite. Molybdenum occurs in the granodiorite host rock, as well as in quartz veins in the granodiorite. The lower zone of visible mineralization occurs from 66.4m to 72.8m (6.4m core length), where molybdenite is associated with a porphyritic phase of the granodiorite as well as on fracture surfaces. Anomalous molybdenum analyses occur over a total length of 6.9m (0.116 lbs/ton). This lower mineralized zone occurs approximately 45m vertically beneath the surface mineralization in the original Highway Showing.

A second hole (RD-06-02) was collared 25m north of the first hole, in order to test the new zone of mineralization along strike, as well as undercut the mineralization on the roadcut. Visible molybdenum mineralization was noted intermittently from 54m to the end of the hole at 127m depth, corresponding to a vertical depth of approximately 85m below the mineralization noted on surface. Laboratory analyses outlined a zone of anomalous molybdenum from 84.4m to 116.4m (32m core length), with an average molybdenum concentration of 0.094 lbs/ton, including a 1.5m zone of 1.108 lbs/ton Mo from 96.6m to 98.1m.

All samples were analyzed by Accurassay Laboratories in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The Radisson Dryden exploration program is supervised by Gary Williams, M.Sc. P.Geo., Consultant, and a Qualified Person as per National Instrument 43-101.

In the light of present global metal markets where molybdenum is selling in the range of $25US per lb., these initial results on just one of Radisson's 5 (five) molybdenum properties in the Dryden area are considered by Radisson to be encouraging enough to recommend further work in the form of surface prospecting and detail drill target definition come Spring 2007.
