Ranger Gold Corp. Announces Major Land Acquisition

CARSON CITY, NV--(Marketwire - March 29, 2010) - Ranger Gold Corp. (OTCBB: RNGC) -- Ranger Gold Corp. (the "Company" or "Ranger") is pleased to announce it has increased its Nevada landholdings by more than 40% with the acquisition of the Truman property.

The Truman property consists of 52 unpatented mineral claims and covers eight epithermal gold-silver targets. It is located near the center of the prolific Walker Lane trend, which hosts such significant deposits as the Goldfield District with 5.9 million ounces of gold production and reserves and the Comstock District with historic production of 8.4 million ounces of gold and 193.5 million ounces of silver.

Previous exploration on the property is extensive and has helped define high-grade gold and silver values occurring in veins, and low-grade gold values occurring in bulk minable configurations.

Ranger plans to do a detailed review of historic data and then proceed with an exploration program to test previously identified high-grade zones.

"The addition of such a major property to our portfolio marks another important milestone in the development of our company," said Gary Basrai, President, "It increases our land base significantly and further enhances our potential for world class gold-silver exploration in the State of Nevada. We plan on approving a budget and commencing drilling as soon as possible."

Ranger has the right to earn a 100% interest by making certain annual property option payments and by accruing minimum exploration expenditures.
