Ranger Gold Corp. Approves Drilling Budget for the CX Property

CARSON CITY, NV--(Marketwire - April 5, 2010) -  Ranger Gold Corp. (OTCBB: RNGC) is pleased to announce it has approved an exploration budget for its CX Property and is moving forward with a drill program that will include approximately 3,000 feet of reverse circulation drilling.

"After reviewing the available geological data, we have identified several targets and will be executing a drill program in the near future," says Gary Basrai, President of Ranger, "We are pleased to make this important step in the progress towards exploring for gold on the CX Property."

The CX Property consists of 72 unpatented mineral claims in Nevada's Nye County. It covers six epithermal gold-silver targets within a caldera margin that hosts at least two other major gold-silver mines with combined production and reserves of several million ounces.

Ranger has the right to earn a 100% undivided interest in the property by making certain annual property option payments and spending certain amounts on the exploration of the property.

"We believe the potential for the CX Property is significant, and we plan to carry out exploration with a goal to advance our 100%-owned project in a timely manner," says Gary Basrai, president of the company.
