Ranger Gold Corp. Approves Drilling Budget for the Truman Property

CARSON CITY, NV--(Marketwire - April 15, 2010) - Ranger Gold Corp. (OTCBB: RNGC) is pleased to announce it has approved an exploration budget for its Truman Property. The exploration program will include approximately 3,000 feet of reverse circulation drilling.

"After analyzing historical data, we have confirmed the Truman Property contains high-impact potential and will further its development through a drill program," says Gary Basrai, President of Ranger. "We are very excited to make this important step forward in the development of our company."

The Truman property consists of 52 unpatented mineral claims and covers eight epithermal gold-silver targets. It is located near the center of the prolific Walker Lane trend, which hosts such significant deposits as the Goldfield District with 5.9 million ounces of gold production and reserves and the Comstock District with historic production of 8.4 million ounces of gold and 193.5 million ounces of silver.

Ranger has the right to earn a 100% undivided interest in the property by making certain annual property option payments and spending certain amounts on exploring the property.

"We believe the potential for the Truman Property is significant, and we plan to carry out exploration in the near term," says company President Gary Basrai.
