Raymor Industries Inc.: Recap and Clarification of Information on Recent Activities; Feedback from Nanobusiness 2006 in NYC; Upcoming Toronto Presentation

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - May 25, 2006) - Raymor Industries Inc. (TSX VENTURE:RAR), a developer and producer of single-walled carbon nanotubes, nanomaterials and advanced materials is pleased to provide an update on its participation at NanoBusiness 2006, which was held on May 17th to May 19th, 2006 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City as well as provide a recap and a clarification of information relating to its recent activities.

As announced on May 18, 2006, the company shipped a new product with Boeing Aerospace in February. While the dollar amount for that order was not significant in overall financial terms for Raymor, it is the second product which they have requested and which is being evaluated for their purposes. Raymor is pleased that this development is in line with its commercial strategy of developing products with potential clients with a potential demand for large volumes of the company's products. There is however no assurance that there will be such future orders.

It is important to note that the company follows industry practice in its commercial relationships and is generally obliged to enter into non-disclosure agreements with them. Under these non-disclosure agreements, Raymor is precluded from mentioning details from a purchase order or contract, including the value and quantity of the sale. This is to protect the client's competitive practices and it also protects Raymor in its competitive environment. However, Raymor maintains an on-going communication with its shareholders and the investors in the market-place by disclosing all facts which management considers to be material in accordance with policies of the TSX Venture Exchange.

At NanoBusiness 2006, where Raymor was also a sponsor and an exhibitor, Stephane Robert, President and CEO of Raymor Industries presented to conference participants the company's portfolio of advanced material and nanomaterial products and services, including Raymor's single-walled carbon nanotube (C-SWNT) production. During the conference, Raymor met with representatives of the US financial community who are looking at investing in leading nanotechnology companies. In its 5th year, NanoBusiness 2006, organized by the NanoBusiness Alliance, is designed to bring nanotech companies together with New York City's financial community for education and networking, in a unique opportunity for face-to-face interaction.

Commenting on the company's presentation and participation at NanoBusiness 2006, Mr. Robert had the following to say:

"Our presentation at NanoBusiness 2006 was received with enthusiasm by conference participants. Both the financial and commercial markets await the completion of our C-SWNT production capacity increase to 10,000 grams/day in June 2006. With this industrial production capacity, Raymor will be in a position to conclude long-term agreements with previously targeted clients for aerospace applications. As I mentioned following our presentation at Nanotech 2006, I can confirm that the need for our product is very large, and after this first unit, we will install additional units to meet the market demand we have identified."

Finally, Raymor will present the company and its activities to the Toronto financial community on Thursday, June 1, 2006 at the Dominion Club, located at The Suites at One King West (Chairman's Boardroom, 12th Floor). The company will give two presentations, one at 12:00 PM and one at 4:15 PM. For further information on this event, please contact Raymor investor relations.
