Reality TV Production "Stag" to Air in Michigan

Hit Series Debuts on WADL-TV 38 in Detroit Saturday, April 26 at 10:30 PM

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - April 23, 2008) - The popular television series, "Stag: A Test of Love," currently celebrating its fourth year, will begin broadcasting over WADL-TV in Detroit, Michigan this Saturday night at 10:30 according to the station manager, Lewis Gibbs.

The hit reality program "Stag" has been televised in numerous major markets throughout the country, but adding the nation's 11th largest market of Detroit will provide an even greater blend of audience economic and social strata than before.

Producer Tommy Habeeb is very aware of the importance and response of the Michigan viewers, having experienced a most favorable reaction to his previous show "Cheaters" which played in Detroit and that he hosted a few years ago. Habeeb, who also produces the internationally syndicated series, "Billionaires Car Club" hosted by Andrew Firestone, has a long and close connection with the Motor City and an affinity for its working-class population.

"I'm really excited about 'Stag' expanding to Michigan and I plan to scout both Detroit and other communities in Michigan, inviting couples to apply as participants on the show," comments Habeeb. Couples planning to marry and wishing to audition should go to the website and complete the form.

"Stag: A Test of Love" tapes the uncensored bachelor party of the prospective groom, prior to the wedding date. It is an unrehearsed, unrestrained and memorable video account, viewed the following day by the couple, accompanied by a chain of reactions and human emotions that makes reality television so interesting.

Lewis Gibbs, President of WADL-TV 38 in Detroit, remarked, "This is an exciting and interesting show that will be most entertaining for our audience. We look forward to providing this type of programming and feel it will add to the enjoyment of our viewers."
