Red Rock Engages Fugro Airborne Survey for Its Beaverlodge District

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Oct. 2, 2007) - Red Rock Energy Inc. (TSX VENTURE:RRK) Red Rock Energy Inc. is pleased to announce that it has engaged Fugro Airborne Surveys to conduct a deep penetrating Megatem Survey of its Red Block 3 properties south of the Uranium City - Beaverlodge District vein-type uranium camp. The airborne survey will help identify: (1) structural trends the overall fluid-flow control for uranium mineralization and (2) the depth of the unconformity contact between Athabasca Supergroup sandstone and underlying granite basement this relationship is believed to be important in the formation of unconformity-type uranium deposits. The two separate properties of Red Block 3 are situated on the northern edge of the Athabasca basin. The Athabasca Basin straddles the Alberta-Saskatchewan boarder, with Saskatchewan accounting for approximately 30% of global primary uranium production the Athabasca basin currently hosts some of the world's richest and the largest uranium deposits.
