RedEye Universal Remotes for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad Now Available in Germany Through eLink Distribution AG

eLink to Supply ThinkFlood's RedEye Remotes for Smartphones, MP3 Players and Other Web-Enabled Devices to German Retailers, AV Dealers and Residential Custom Installers

WALTHAM, MA and HAMBURG, GERMANY--(Marketwire - August 24, 2010) - ThinkFlood (http://thinkflood.com/), maker of RedEye remotes for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch, and eLink Distribution AG (http://www.elink-distribution.com/), Germany's leading supplier of innovative AV and telecommunications products, today announced a strategic distribution partnership to meet consumer and reseller demand for RedEye remotes.

ThinkFlood selected eLink as the exclusive distributor of RedEye remotes in Germany because of its strong relationships with retailers, independent AV dealers, and residential custom installers and integrators.

RedEye products turn the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch into universal remotes that offer high-end functionality at an affordable price. Using an Apple iOS device instead of a traditional remote, RedEye and RedEye mini users can operate anything controlled by infrared: TVs, DVRs, cable and satellite receivers, DVD and Blu-ray players, game consoles, stereos, and more.

"We predict that ThinkFlood's RedEye universal remote control accessories for smartphones, MP3 players, netbooks and other web-enabled devices will be very popular in Germany," said eLink Distribution CEO Roman Klinke. "Anyone can use RedEye to transform their handheld device into a controller for all of their equipment -- and installers can apply their AV experience to the RedEye app's completely customizable interface to create the perfect controllers for their clients."

"eLink Distribution is perfectly positioned to bring RedEye home control products to market in Germany," said Phil Davis, Vice President of Sales at ThinkFlood. "As the professional AV market and consumer channel converge, eLink's modern approach and existing relationships with key retailers, buying groups and custom installers, ensure that RedEye remotes will quickly achieve success in multiple channels."

eLink offers products from AMX, LifeSize, Mirial, RADVISION, RedEye, Sharp, Sony, and others.
