Redhawk Acquires More Ground at Copper Creek

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - May 30, 2006) - Redhawk Resources, Inc. ("Redhawk") (TSX VENTURE:RDK) is pleased to announce it has acquired by staking and filing 30 additional unpatented lode mining claims at its Copper Creek Project in Arizona. The new claims cover potentially prospective ground along the southern, northern, and western boundaries of Redhawk's property package. With these additional claims Redhawk's Copper Creek project holdings now total more than 4,200 acres, including patented mineral and land titles, unpatented mining claims, and Arizona State Land Prospecting Permits.

Redhawk's Copper Creek project is located in the southwest copper porphyry belt, 75 road miles northeast of Tucson and 15 miles northeast of San Manuel. Copper Creek is situated in an area of exceptionally well-developed general and copper mining infrastructure.

Copper Creek is situated at the structural intersection of an ENE-trending belt of porphyry copper deposits which includes the Lakeshore, San Manuel/Kalamazoo, Safford and Morenci mines, and an NNW-trending belt of porphyry copper deposits that includes the Superior (Resolution), Christmas and Miami-Inspiration mines. The Copper Creek project hosts multiple copper-molybdenum breccia and copper-molybdenum porphyry deposits. The economic potential of Copper Creek builds on an established base of more than 407,000 feet (77 miles) of drilling.
