In response to the allegations from Marie Pierre Hauville, spokesperson for the Cannes Film Festival, who said, " what disgusts me in particular is that he is using the very serious issue of accessibility for the disabled as a way to gain publicity for his film "- Montreal Gazette

Sean Marckos responds, "I am very offended that a prestigious festival such as the Cannes film festival would believe that, especially after letting them know, having the visual proof , and trying to get answers to my questions for the past 2 years. I myself was awakened to the subject of image discrimination because it happened to me personally in Cannes, and once I realized it, I knew we had a social responsibility to bring this issue to the public. That's one of the main reasons why we began a documentary and a campaign on the subject of image discrimination in society. All the associations, collaborators and individuals involved understand the importance of raising awareness socially, not only for the disabled , but for every individual who has been stereotyped and excluded due to their image"

The public can reach their on conclusions by listening to a live debate with both parties that aired on April 7th on CBC radio at the following link : http://reflexionscampaign.com/media_kit/html/reflexions_audio.html
