Event Previews 2nd International Biennial 01SJ Global Festival of Art on the Edge
SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - September 27, 2007) -
WHAT: The unveiling of Camille Utterback's "Abundance" is the second major
projection artwork on the Richard Meier-designed San Jose City Hall Rotunda
-- and a sneak preview of the next 01SJ (Zero One San Jose) Festival,
coming June 4-8, 2008. Changing and evolving through pedestrian movement
in the San Jose City Hall Plaza, "Abundance" may be experienced from sunset
to midnight September 28 - October 6.
WHO: Utterback's dynamic, abstract animation will be unveiled on the City
Hall Rotunda by the artist, Chuck Reed, mayor of San Jose, and Andy
Cunningham, founder, ZeroOne: The Art and Technology Network.
Also present for comment will be 01SJ representatives and individuals from
collaborating organizations:

BACKGROUND: ZeroOne: The Art and Technology Network is a non-profit
organization dedicated to inspiring culture on the edge of art and
technology. The organization convenes artists and technologists, showcases
their collaborative efforts, sponsors artistic initiatives and presents the
resulting work to the public. The core initiative of ZeroOne is 01SJ, a
global festival of art on the edge that consists of ground-breaking
installations, interactive performances and new cinema. 01SJ takes place
in San Jose, California, every two years. The next event is slated for
