Remote Surveillance Technologies Awarded Project to Install Biometric Vascular Access Control System for Fortune 500 Company
IRVINE, CA--(Marketwire - September 27, 2007) - Remote Surveillance Technologies, Inc.
(PINKSHEETS: RSUR) is pleased to announce it has been awarded the
installation project of a biometric vascular access control system on
behalf of a Fortune 500 company that wishes to be nameless for security
purposes. The project is for the company's newly built Sensitive
Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) or "Chamber," as it is commonly
known. Security requirements for Chambers are regulated by the U.S.
Department of Defense. For the most secure access to the Chamber, Remote
Surveillance Technologies provided a biometric vascular access control
system from Identica Corporation.
Remote Surveillance Technologies CEO Michael Cummings stated, "It was
Remote Surveillance Technologies' charge to secure the Chamber, sufficient
to process Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) or Level I classified
information. Access to a Chamber is severely limited and all activity and
conversation inside must be secure and private. The processes to achieve
such a secure environment are comprehensive, which requires unique skills,
knowledge, and creativity. I am very proud that Remote Surveillance
Technologies was tapped to provide this very important electronic security
application."
