RepeatSeat to Expand Its North American Leading mCommerce Solution Through the Proposed Acquisition of Don't Shoot the Messenger

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - April 25, 2008) - RepeatSeat Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:RPS) is pleased to announce the proposed acquisition of certain assets of Don't Shoot the Messenger Inc. ("DSTM") including their industry leading mobile Canadian movie search engine,

Currently there are more than 100 million mobile content users worldwide and the acquisition will allow RepeatSeat to be in an industry leading position at the center of this expanding market in Canada; currently has listings for over 400 theatre locations, and over 2400 screens across Canada.

RepeatSeat President & CEO George Davidson stated " received over two million hits to their site last year from more than 25,000 unique visitors. The site is the leading mobile search destination for patrons seeking movie times and locations in Canada and now with RepeatSeat acquiring it, we will be able to deliver the next step in the process and monetize that user base. RepeatSeat plans to completely integrate the website by using our North American leading mCommerce movie ticketing solution allowing users to take the next logical step and purchase a ticket to the movie they just look up." Davidson continued "Mobile data services now account for over 10% of Canada's wireless revenues. Clearly there is a strong demand and growing interest in mobile content and we intend to continue to expand our leadership in delivering true mCommerce applications."

Mobile handset and network technology has now evolved to a point where true mobile web access is widely available. Experts anticipate that by 2011, just under half of all mobile subscribers worldwide will use mobile browsing and the overall mobile entertainment market will grow from US$18.84 billion in 2006 to US$38.12 billion in the next four years.

Founder of Don't Shoot the Messenger Norm Cherwoniak commented, "We first launched in 2000 in the very early days of the wireless web and are grateful to the many people who were pioneers in using what was then a new medium and also to those who turned to us over the years to find movie listings at their fingertips. We are confident that with RepeatSeat's mCommerce solutions, the appeal of MyMovies will only continue to grow."

In October 2007 RepeatSeat, in conjunction with Cineplex Entertainment and Bell Mobility, launched the first mCommerce application in North America whereby patrons received a bar code delivered to their cell phone that could then be read by a bar code scanner at the movie theatre. The cost of the transaction is charged directly to their mobile phone bill. Davidson added "The ability to now add that technology to convert MyMovies patrons from browsing for information to completion of a purchase transaction by enabling a "buy tickets now" link on the MyMovies site immediately positions RepeatSeat even further ahead of any would be competitors."

2008 is projected by Hollywood to be a record breaking year at the box office and with the continued move to mobile device applications by the consumer, RepeatSeat continues to be well positioned to significantly capitalize on not only its strong strategic partnerships, but will also allow the Company to extend the technology lead that RepeatSeat clearly enjoys over traditional ticketing companies.

The proposed acquisition of DSTM is being funded through the issuance of 160,000 RPS common shares at a deemed value of $0.25 per common share. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval but is expected to be concluded shortly.
