Richard Bradshaw to receive CEO of the Year Award of Excellence from the Canadian Public Relations Society 'Toronto'

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 22, 2007) - The Canadian Public Relations Society (Toronto) will award Richard Bradshaw, General Director of the Canadian Opera Company, the 14th annual CEO of the Year Award of Excellence in Public Relations at a luncheon on January 25th.

The CPRS (Toronto) CEO Award of Excellence in Public Relations was created in 1991 to celebrate the Chief Executive Officer in the Greater Toronto area who best demonstrates personal excellence in the understanding and implementation of public relations practices. CPRS is a national association dedicated to establishing high professional, educational and ethical standards within the public relations profession.

Richard Bradshaw was chosen as this year's recipient based on his exceptional abilities in effectively communicating with both internal and external stakeholders. Under his direction, the Canadian Opera Company has been internationally recognized for its artistic excellence and creative innovation.
