Richard Lisa Appointed President of Cinnabar Ventures, Inc.


FORT MYERS, FL--(Marketwire - January 19, 2010) - Cinnabar Ventures, Inc. ("Cinnabar") (OTCBB: CNBR), the creator of the Yippy OS; www.yippy.com, a cloud-based operating system currently in beta, announces the appointment of Richard "Rick" Lisa, age 51, as President, Chief Operating Officer and Director. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Lisa was Vice President of Field Sales and Director of World Wide Embedded Sales for Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. ("AMD").

In his time at AMD, Mr. Lisa directly managed sales and marketing efforts to major server system builders that were installing advanced hardware in large high performance computing and cloud businesses in North America. His intimate knowledge of the state of the art server computing technology will be applied directly in his new role at Cinnabar. In his most recent assignment he managed AMD's customer programs for embedded applications worldwide. These included thin client, kiosk, point of sale, internet appliances, communications, and dedicated purpose computing platforms; all of which will impact Cinnabar's future plans.

Prior to AMD, Mr. Lisa held senior executive positions managing multi-national efforts in sales, marketing, operations, planning and information systems management at Fairchild Semiconductor Incorporated and Motorola, Inc. In his 22 years at Motorola, he worked in continually increasing roles of responsibility in the automotive, communications, computing and semiconductor divisions of the multinational conglomerate. His time at Motorola was highlighted by his last position as Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Consumer Systems and Home Networking Group. In this role, Mr. Lisa developed and managed both the tactical and strategic sales & marketing efforts in major accounts including HP, Sony, Scientific Atlanta, Lexmark, Nintendo, Xerox, Canon and Epson.
