@Road Earns ISO 9001:2000 Recertification

ISO 9001:2000 Recertification Demonstrates @Road's Ongoing Commitment to Quality Assurance and Controls, Customer Service, and Management Systems for Continual Improvement

FREMONT, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- September 20, 2006 -- @Road, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARDI), a global provider of next-generation solutions for Mobile Resource Management (MRM), today announced it has received ISO (International Organization for Standardization) 9001:2000 recertification from Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (LRQA), an independent international certification body and a member of the Lloyd's Register Group providing verification and assessment services. The LRQA "Certification of Approval" was granted to @Road for achieving ISO 9001:2000 and TickIT Guide Issue 5 standards for quality management system in "the development and provision of Field Service Management products" at @Road's international operations in Ipswich, UK and Chennai, India.

ISO 9001:2000 is an internationally recognized quality standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system aimed at helping organizations achieve customer satisfaction and continual improvement. The ISO 9001:2000 standard is process-model based and was developed using a core set of eight quality management principles. These eight principles include: customer focus; leadership; involvement of people; process approach; system approach to management; continual improvement; factual approach to decision making; and mutually beneficial supplier relationships.

ISO 9001:2000 certification also specifies requirements for a quality management system for any organization that needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products that meet customer and applicable regulatory requirements and aim to enhance customer satisfaction. The standard is used for certification/registration and contractual purposes by organizations seeking recognition of their quality management system. Periodic assessments will be carried out to verify that products, materials, services, systems and personnel continue to meet ISO 9001:2000 certification standards and customer expectations.
