RockBridge Doubles Size of Newfoundland Rare Earth Prospect as Work Program Continues

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - April 27, 2010) - RockBridge Resources (RockBridge) (TSX VENTURE:RBE) advises that as part of its 2010 work program on the Cross Hills Rare Metals and Rare Earths Property in southern Newfoundland, its consulting geologist has now completed 3 days of locating and sampling priority areas on the property. Most of the historic occurrences were located and sampled during the property visit and samples sent for analysis to Activation Laboratories located in Ancaster, Ontario. The strongest zones of radioactivity occurred within the historic #12 and Pit showings, both of which have returned significant rare earth elements based on historic data. Other lower priority showings were also located and sampled. On-going exploration will be conducted to gain a better understanding of the geology and nature of the mineralization.

RockBridge has staked a further 27 claims contiguous and to the south of its existing Cross Hills property bringing the total number of claims to 54. This doubling of RockBridge's Cross Hills property will in part better facilitate any development of the original property and will add to the area for continuing prospecting.

The next steps planned for the work program include additional sampling and saw cut sampling of the #12 and Pit showings, as well as a detailed prospecting program to better delineate the know zones of mineralization, locate any historic zones that could not be identified during the recent field investigation and identify additional mineralization on the property. Once this work has been completed and reviewed together with all sample analysis, RockBridge will then give consideration to firming up possible drill targets for an initial drill program. Historic drilling does not exist in the area.

RockBridge President, Gary Mathiesen, stated, "Based on what we have seen to date, we have doubled the land position of the Cross Hills property. Management is continuing with the 2010 work program for the now doubled Cross Hills property and is looking forward to the results of the on-going sampling and prospecting, with an anticipated drill program to follow shortly after."
