Rockbridge Provides Update

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 16, 2010) - RockBridge Energy Inc. (RockBridge) (TSX VENTURE:RBE) wishes to report that operations are underway on RockBridge's recently acquired Cross Hills REE property. The planned 2010 operations include mapping, sampling and a proposed drilling program. The Cross Hills REE property is located in southern Newfoundland and is prospective for rare earth elements.

Recently, a further 2000 acres of leasehold was acquired and added to the Woodrush Project, which currently consists of 6 natural gas and oil wells with associated production facilities. A drilling rig is now on site for a new oil well at Woodrush with completion anticipated for the end of March 2010. There are an additional two new wells planned to be drilled and completed in 2010 on the project, and the operator reports that with operational and other improvements, gross production for the project could increase to 650 boes per day. The Woodrush and Drake properties are located in northeastern British Columbia.

On the Pembina and Bantry oil and gas properties in Alberta, RockBridge's new partner on the properties, Rustler Petroleum Inc., has now become the operator and accordingly RockBridge is in the process of having the more than $530,000 posted with the Alberta ERCB returned. Rustler is assessing the Pembina properties for possible further development of the Cardium formation with horizontal wells.

Gary Mathiesen, President of RockBridge stated, "RockBridge has acquired, in its view, quality projects and now management is in a position to start to develop and expand these assets. Clearly, the company is moving toward a period of potentially rapid growth and the Board is optimistic about the short and long-term prospects for RockBridge."
