Rocmec Extends Maturity Date of Debentures With Desjardins Innovatech

VAUDREUIL-DORION, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - March 5, 2010) - Rocmec Mining inc. (the «company») (TSX VENTURE:RMI) (FRANKFURT:D5O) is pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached to extend the maturity date of the debentures held by Desjardins Innovatech. The maturity date of the eight (8) $100,000 debentures has been extended to December 31st, 2011. In exchange for the extension, the annual interest rate paid on the debentures will increase from 12% to 13.5%, the conversion price adjusted to $0.13 and Rocmec will issue 4 million common share purchase warrant priced at $0.16 per share for a period of 18 months ending July 1st, 2011. The transaction is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture exchange.
