Rodinia Minerals Inc.: William Randall Appointed V.P. of Exploration

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 23, 2009) - Rodinia Minerals Inc. (TSX VENTURE:RM) ("Rodinia" or the "Company") would like to announce that William Randall has accepted the position of Vice President of Exploration.

"We are very pleased to have a geologist with William's experience and knowledge joining the management team to direct the Clayton Valley Lithium Brine Project through the exploration and development phase with the goal of becoming a US based lithium producer," comments Don Mosher, President of Rodinia Minerals Inc.

Mr. Randall is a Geologist whose professional experience includes management roles in both mineral exploration and production. During his career he has run, or participated in, exploration programs responsible for numerous discoveries and has taken deposits from the resource stage through to feasibility and production. Born in Argentina, with degrees from the University of Toronto, he is now focused on lithium deposits, particularly brines in both South and North America.

Rodinia Minerals Inc. is pleased to announce that Ian Halket has been contracted to act as an independent consultant to the Company advising on sampling, analysis and measuring techniques needed in an environment involving multiple aquifers in an enclosed basin.

Ian Halket is a hydrologist with over thirty years of experience in the development of water resources and civil engineering. He has consulted on water resource projects in Canada and internationally, most recently conducting a risk assessment of a local dam and lock structure, and an assessment of a groundwater resource in Argentina. He is presently a college instructor teaching hydrology, terrain and environmental analysis. He is a Member of the Manitoba Clean Environment Commission where he has investigated issues concerning groundwater extraction and pollution control. He will be defending his PhD in Civil Engineering in November.

The company has started a 3 hole reverse circular drill program. The data collected during the program will be used to complete a detailed profile of the Clayton Valley and to initiate the sampling of the lithium brines in order to complete a NI 43-101 report on a possible resource contained in the northern claim area.
