Rolling Rock Monument Bay Resource

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - June 2, 2006) - Rolling Rock Resources Corporation (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:RLL) has today filed on Sedar a Technical Report on the Monument Bay project, Twin Lakes, Manitoba prepared by Wardrop Engineering and dated May 24, 2006. The Company is acquiring 100% of the Monument Bay project subject to regulatory approval and shareholder approval at its June 28, 2006 meeting. The Information Circular and Management Proxy material has been mailed and filed on Sedar on June 2, 2006.

The Technical Report was authored by Gregory Z. Mosher, M.Sc., P. Geo and Kevin J. Palmer, B.Sc. (Hon.), P. Geo, each a qualified person as set out in National Instrument 43-101. Kevin Palmer carried out the mineral resource estimate as at May 24, 2006. At a cutoff grade of 3 g/t Au, the Monument Bay Property contains a capped Inferred Mineral Resource of 3,379,000 tonnes at an average grade of 6.465 g/t Au containing 701,234 ounces of gold. The estimate is based on 60,000 metres of drilling by Bema Gold Corp. and Wolfden Resources Inc., between 2000 and 2005. The 3-D block model was created using the available drill hole data and grades were interpolated within the block model using inverse distance cubed in Datamine software. Gold grades have been capped based on a statistical analysis of the grades within individual zones. Only blocks lying within 50 meters of a composite have been included in the estimate, and because of uncertainties regarding the geological interpretation and apparent discontinuous nature of mineralization that are a function, at least in part, of the current drill hole spacing, the mineral resources estimated are categorized as "Inferred".

The Company has a letter of intent with each of Bema and Wolfden to acquire 100% of each of their interest in the Monument Bay project. The Company raised $6,808,000 by private placement closed on April 27, 2006 to be used to fund exploration on the Monument Bay and the Domain projects in Manitoba.

The Wardrop Technical Report recommends a 5,000 metre drill program at a budget of Cdn$1.5 million in order to reassess structural data and carry out infill drilling to improve the geological model and mineral resource estimate and additional drilling along strike as the controlling structure extends to both the east and west beyond the current limits of drilling. The Company will mobilize to commence this program as soon as the acquisition closes.
