RotoHog.com Names Chris Peterson 2007's Global Fantasy Football Champion

Canadian Resident Wins $100,000 and Heads to LA for Awards Banquet Feb 9th

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - January 24, 2008) - RotoHog.com, a premier fantasy sports Web site, declared Chris Peterson the 2007 Global Champion of RotoHog's Marshall Faulk $100,000 Fantasy Football challenge. This is the second $100,000 grand prize that RotoHog has given away to a fantasy league winner in 2007.

The Saskatchewan, Canada native topped the leader board with 2,617.73 points, 40.29 points ahead of his nearest competitor. Peterson is a relative newcomer to the fantasy market -- he has only played fantasy sports for 3 years. As the winner, Peterson receives RotoHog's coveted $100,000 grand prize, to be presented at an awards luncheon set for February 9th in Manhattan Beach, California. In addition to being named RotoHog's $100,000 winner, Chris stated that "this award by far is the highlight [of my sports career] because of what this money will be able to do for my family and [me]."

"We are proud to declare Chris our Global Fantasy Football Champion for the 2007 football season. Chris was one of many prize winners this season on RotoHog.com, as we awarded more than $200,000 in prizes," said David Wu, CEO of RotoHog.com. "Newer players like Chris and veteran players alike are looking for a fantasy league that challenges their sports management ability. RotoHog is pure adrenaline where skill and passion rule the day. We have continued to extend our reach globally and are excited to crown Chris as RotoHog's first international champion. Congratulations to Chris for a well deserved victory."

With the start of the 2007 Major League Baseball season, RotoHog.com unveiled a fantasy sports site combining all the popular characteristics of online fantasy sports. RotoHog allows players to select and manage a roster of professional athletes to compete against other users based on real-world athlete performances. Additionally, RotoHog features a unique trading floor that gives users the ability to improve their roster by buying and selling players on a daily basis.

Six months later, RotoHog launched 2007 NFL fantasy football. In addition to the grand prize of $100,000, participating team managers had a chance to win prizes every week during the season. There were also four-week contests with managers competing for LG Plasma and LCD HDTVs, as well as participating in a Military Fantasy Football League, which donated all premium services purchased to the Hire-A-Hero Foundation.

"I have been so impressed by RotoHog. The game is extremely fun and addicting. I loved the draft, I think it is brilliant," said Chris Peterson, first winner of RotoHog's Fantasy Baseball League. "It is extremely important to build your cash balance as early in the draft as possible. I found that realizing who had a good week along with having a good match up the next weekend were the guys to pick up Tuesday morning. As far as deciding who to play, it came down to a balance between a good match up and picking the best football player. I definitely liked to pick the go to guy."

RotoHog's first Football Awards Banquet will be held at the Manhattan Beach Marriott on February 9th. In addition to the entire RotoHog staff, every RotoHog Football user is invited. Chris and other RotoHog winners will be awarded their prizes, and RotoHog will raffle off Marshall Faulk autographed sports memorabilia and other prizes.
