SANYO Canada Launches Four New Digital Projectors

CONCORD, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 31, 2007) - SANYO Canada has launched four new digital projectors including one full high-definition, home entertainment unit and three ultra portable projectors.

The SANYO PLV-Z2000 boasts 1200 ANSI Lumens (Vivid Mode), 15000:1 Contrast Ratio, and full HD Resolution at 1080p offering 1920x1080 resolution. With a net weight of 16.1 pounds (7.2 kilograms), other features include a 3D color management system, 14-Bit gamma correction, exclusive Topaz Real HD technology, and lens maximization of image detail. It also sports a new optical system for reliability and performance (D.I.O.S.), advanced lens shift for a variety of room environments and a virtually silent fan design. With an MSRP of $3,199, an illuminated infrared remote control and AC power cord are included.

The SANYO PLC-WXU30 offers True WXGA Resolution (1280 x 800), and high-quality HD image projection from any location. Ultra compact and fully portable, it weighs less than 7.9 pounds (3.5 kilograms) and boasts high brightness and contrast at 3700 ANSI Lumens. Other features include a flexible zoom lens, power off and go with anti-theft alarm, wired and wireless networking capability and versatile inputs. With an MSRP of $2,800, it includes a soft carrying bag.

The SANYO PLC-XU78 offers true XGA Resolution (1024 x 768), sports 3000 ANSI Lumens and weighs less than 6.8 pounds (3 kilograms). It's housed in a fully portable but durable magnesium cabinet and includes features such as a standard zoom lens ratio of 1.65 to 1.81:1, with dual D-sub input, S-video and composite video output, built-in speaker, variable audio out, power off and go security features and vertical digital keystone correction. MSRP is $2,400.

Also ultra compact and portable, the SANYO PLC-XU75 offers true XGA resolution (1024 x 768), sports 2500 ANSI Lumens and weighs less than 6.8 pounds (3 kilograms). Other features include 1:1.2 zoom lens, new progressive IC with 3-2 & 2-2 pulldown, dual D-Sub15 inputs, Black Board Mode for easy viewing, security features and a variable audio out. MSRP is $1,800.
