SCI Solutions Launches New Version of Schedule Maximizer (v32)

Access Management Vendor Enhances Rules-Based Enterprise Scheduling, Expands Revenue Cycle Functionality

LOS GATOS, CA--(Marketwire - January 6, 2010) - SCI Solutions®, the premier Access Management solution provider for healthcare, today announced the release of a new version (v32) of its powerful, rules-based, enterprise scheduling solution, Schedule Maximizer®.

Schedule Maximizer (v32) includes numerous revenue cycle boosting enhancements, including:

-- Email Appointment Reminder Confirmation, which expands SCI's Appointment
   Reminder functionality to confirm to the user when a booking event or
   request occurs

-- Expanded functionality in SCI's Consumer and Physician self-scheduling
   portals

-- Revenue cycle focused reports:

   Worklist -- a statistical report for the number of worklist items by
   assigned users, worklist statuses and worklist names.

   Medical Necessity -- a statistical report on the number of Medical
   Necessity checks and their statuses.

Additionally, Schedule Maximizer (v32) includes enhancements to its operational reports, Spanish language capabilities (i.e., ABNs, prep notes, directions and email disclaimers) as well as expanded functionality of the Compare/Merge tool which enables management of duplicate patients without the expense of a full EMPI.
