SENSIO Unveils its Financial Results for the Second Quarter of 2008

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Jan. 25, 2008) - SENSIO Technologies Inc. ("SENSIO") (TSX VENTURE:SIO), inventor of the SENSIO®3D technology, announces its financial results for the quarter ended November 30, 2007. "During the quarter, SENSIO concluded two major agreements. We have been working for a long time to earn our place in two very distinct markets: consumer and movie theaters. In each of these sectors, we have completed significant steps that will allow us to generate recurring revenues in the very near future. We remain closely aligned with our strategic plan and are extremely pleased with our results", comments Nicholas Routhier, President and CEO.

Highlights

- Signature of the first contract for the integration of the SENSIO technology into a 3D ready television intended for the consumer market

- Launch by AccessIT of CineLive, a new product that leverages the Live 3D! technology developed by SENSIO, which will offer live 2D and 3D to movie theaters equipped with the digital technology

- Strengthening of strategic relations with industry players

- Demonstration of the SENSIO technology on the new Mitsubishi HD 3D television at 3D Biz-Ex

Summary of Financial Results

SENSIO's revenues totaled $108,701 versus $190,962 for the previous quarter. This difference can be explained by the sale of a projection system to a specialized market client during the same quarter the previous year. However, the new contract for the integration of the technology into a consumer product represent a first source of potential recurring income for SENSIO.

SENSIO's net loss for the quarter ended November 30, 2007 amounted to $441,307 ($0.0131 per share) compared to $519,318 ($0.0213 per share) as at November 30, 2006. This decrease is due essentially to strategic decisions made by the Company's management, which impacted on SENSIO's selling expenses and stock-based compensation expense.

A First Integration for the SENSIO®3D Technology

Last November, SENSIO signed its very first agreement for the integration of its technology into SpectronIQ's HD LCD television. This agreement was signed with Kerner Optical Research & Development (KORD), as the development of this television is now the object of a contract between KORD and SpectronIQ.

This first integration contract means a great deal to SENSIO. On the one hand, it is in line with the Company's integration objectives and on the other hand, it should represent the first recurring income for the Company. "We are very confident of completing future integration agreements with other manufacturers. This contract is a kickoff and all our efforts are currently focused in this direction", explains Mr. Routhier.

This brand new 3D television should be available as early as next fall according to the manufacturer.

SENSIO Introduces Live 3D! in Digital Movie Theaters

U.S. company AccessIT, Canadian company International Datacasting (IDC) and SENSIO Technologies have partnered to allow the broadcasting of live 2D and 3D events in movie theaters. The new product, CineLive(SM), allows the broadcasting of content such as concerts and sporting events, through standard satellite distribution channels.

This partnership is important for SENSIO, as it should generate interesting revenues while enhancing its visibility on the digital movie theater market. In fact, consumers will have the opportunity to witness SENSIO's presence in each of these theaters during the broadcasting of 3D events, scheduled to begin in 2008.

SENSIO Better Positioned Within the Industry

During the past quarter, SENSIO took part in several events such as 3D Biz-Ex and CEATEC, tradeshows that attract industry players. Attending these events allowed the Company to develop and maintain relations with various electronics manufacturers.

"The visibility these events provide to our company is crucial as we want to position ourselves within the industry. We want to become the 3D standard for the home theater industry and attending these events allows us to gain the credibility and visibility we need to achieve our goal", concludes Mr. Routhier.
