MONTEREY, CA--(Marketwire - February 5, 2010) - SHOP.COM, the comparison shopping site designed for busy women, has announced the promotions of two executive team members, Vince Hunt and Karen Casella. In addition, after more than 30 years in the media and retailing industries, SHOP.COM President and Co-Founder Bruce Sellers will retire from the company, effective February 17. Sellers has been appointed to SHOP.COM's Board of Directors.

A founding member of SHOP.COM, Vince Hunt has been promoted from Chief Technology Officer to Chief Operating Officer (COO). As COO, Hunt's focus will be on optimizing the company's daily operations, including traffic acquisition and revenue generation, as well as longer-term strategic planning. Karen Casella has been named the company's Senior Vice President of Engineering. Casella joined SHOP.COM in 2005 as Vice President of Site Development before being promoted to Vice President of Engineering in 2008. Prior to joining SHOP.COM, she served as Director of Application Architecture at eBay, Inc., and had an 11-year tenure with Sun Microsystems, where she was instrumental in driving e-commerce solutions for the company.

Both Hunt and Casella will report to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Ken Goldstein.

"Vince and Karen have played instrumental roles in the evolution of our company, always keeping foremost our commitment to create and deliver the most compelling shopping experiences for our customers," said Goldstein. "As we continue to build our expanding network of community initiatives and increase our dialogue with online shoppers, I look forward to their continued success."

SHOP.COM President/Founding Member to Retire
