SNS Silver Corporation: Electrical Progress at the Crescent Mine

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Nov. 7, 2007) - SNS Silver Corporation ("SNS Silver" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:SNS) announces the completion of additions and upgrades to the electrical infrastructure at the Crescent Mine which were implemented to improve efficiency and reduce power consumption. Through the combined efforts of Electrical Contractors, Avista Utilities and SNS Silver personnel, a new 2,000kva, 2,400volts, 3 phase sub-station was designed and constructed on site as a permanent source of power for the entire facility, both at surface and underground. This new sub-station was successfully energized and has been operating for several weeks, marking the first time in over a decade that power was restored to the Underground #1 hoist area.

Work is currently underway to construct an additional 2,400 volts for surface distribution feeders. Once completed, the new system will be capable of providing the Crescent Mine facility with an available capacity of 2,000 horsepower.
