SNS Silver Drills 562 g/t (16.4 opt) Over 2.18 Metres

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Jan. 14, 2008) - SNS Silver Corp. ("SNS") (TSX VENTURE:SNS) announces results from recent diamond drill hole SNS-604, intercepted a core length of 7.15 feet (2.18 metres) with an average grade of 16.39 oz/t (562 g/t) of silver. Approximately 187 feet (57 metres) west of SNS-604, drill hole SNS-603 intercepted 6.61 feet (2.01 metres) with an average grade of 9.43 oz/t (323 g/t) of silver.

The weighted averages from these intercepts in SNS-603 and SNS-604 are from 766.62 to 773.23 feet and from 798.35 to 805.50 feet, respectively. The true width intercepts of SNS-603 and SNS-604 are 5.38 feet (1.64 metres) and 6.20 feet (1.89 metres), respectively.

The intercepts of SNS-603 and SNS-604 are in the immediate hanging wall of the Alhambra structure, known as the Alhambra Vein. Drill hole intercepts SNS-603 and SNS-604 have an elevation difference of 11 feet (3.4 metres) so, the distance of 187 feet (57 metres) between these intercepts is the true strike length.

SNS-603 is approximately 367 feet (112 metres) of strike length, east of SNS-302(1) and SNS-604 is 657 feet (112 metres) west of SNS-205a(1), which makes a total known strike-length of the Alhambra Vein, of 1,400 feet (427 metres) from SNS-301(1) to SNS-205a(1). These results are based only on the data collected from the 2007 surface drilling program.

Highlights from diamond drill holes SNS-603 and SNS-604 include:

- 62.92 oz/t (2157 g/t) Ag, 0.67% Cu, 0.18% Pb at 0.65 feet (true width)
- 28.0 oz/t (960 g/t) Ag, 0.40% Cu, 0.03% Pb at 1.04 feet (true width)
- 25.9 oz/t (888 g/t) Ag, 0.43% Cu, 0.07% Pb at 0.74 feet (true width)
- 25.3 oz/t (867 g/t) Ag, 0.38% Cu, 0.84% Pb at 0.35 feet (true width)
- 23.1 oz/t (792 g/t) Ag, 0.37% Cu, 0.09% Pb at 0.52 feet (true width)
- 13.9 oz/t (477 g/t) Ag, 0.40% Cu, 2.49% Pb at 1.73 feet (true width)

All the silver samples are reported fire assay (FA) and atomic absorption (AA). The copper and lead results are reported by ICP (inductively coupled plasma). Assays were performed by Chris Christopherson, Inc. of Smelterville, Idaho, United States of America. The Alhambra vein in drill hole SNS-603 and SNS-604 are reported by AA, with the exception of the samples from 771.00 to 772.00 and from 772.44 to 773.23 feet in SNS-603; and 792.70 to 793.04 feet and from 798.35 to 805.50 feet in SNS-604, which are reported by FA. The diamond drilling is NQ and NQ2 size and all assay results are within the parameters of the quality control standards, within SNS Silver's quality control and assurance program.

SNS Silver Corporation (TSX VENTURE:SNS) is an exploration mining company, whose primary asset is the 100% owned Crescent Mine located in Kellogg, Idaho - one of the largest silver districts in North America with over one billion ounces of silver produced. The property consists of 24 patented mining claims over approximately 350 acres, alongside 15 acres of surface rights. The Company currently has a comprehensive and well-funded drill program underway. Their main focus is on upper country surface drilling and underground drilling on the Alhambra and South Veins, as well as restoration of the Hooper Tunnel, drifting and cross-cutting.

Historical resource estimates quoted herein are based on data and reports obtained and prepared by previous operators. The Company has not completed the work necessary to independently verify the classification of the mineral resource estimates and is not treating the mineral resource estimates as National Instrument 43-101 defined resources verified by a qualified person. The historical estimates should not be relied upon. The Crescent Mine will require considerable further evaluation, which the Company's management and consultants are in the process of completing.
