Sage Software Ships New Sage Abra eRecruiter: Online Recruiting Tool for Mid-Sized Organizations in North America

ST. PETERSBURG, FL--(CCNMatthews - May 23, 2006) - Sage Software announced today the availability of Sage Abra eRecruiter, the new online recruiting solution for its award-winning Sage Abra HRMS product line. The recruiting solution is easy-to-use and affordable, helping HR professionals in the U.S. and Canada to expand their Internet recruiting strategies, reduce hiring costs, and shorten the recruiting cycle by automating and simplifying the entire recruiting process.

"Sage Abra eRecruiter will help us reduce paperwork and make it easy for hiring supervisors to have greater visibility and involvement in the entire recruitment process," said Cynthia Simmons, HR assistant for the City of Smyrna, Ga., a Sage Abra HRMS customer with more than 400 employees that will soon implement Abra eRecruiter. Using Abra eRecruiter, a company can customize an online career center to match their corporate Web site's look and feel, allowing applicants to easily view open positions, submit resumes, answer screening questions, and complete applications online. An employee-only view of the career center supports companies' employee referral programs. Managers and recruiters can search the applicant and employee database for a variety of requisition-specific criteria, including degree, major, referral source, position desired, and skills. Abra eRecruiter supports the U.S. EEOC guidelines regarding Internet job applicants.

Added Simmons, "In addition to time-savings, Abra eRecruiter is a great tool for electronic records management. Per the Georgia Department of Archives and History Retention Schedule for Local Government Records, we must keep resumes and applications on file for two years. Also integrating with Monsterr, Abra eRecruiter helps give thousands of additional potential candidates access to a company's postings, while built-in e-mail workflows result in paperless recruiting. Abra eRecruiter enables users to create new requisitions using templates or from scratch, route them to approvers for review, and then automatically post to the online career center and the Web.
