Salon City, Inc. Unveils Multi-Tiered, Two-Year Plan for Expanding Revenues

BEVERLY HILLS, CA--(Marketwire - November 9, 2009) - Ewire -- Salon City, Inc.'s (PINKSHEETS: SALN) president and CEO Steven Casciola announced that the company is planning the next stage of its media and network initiatives for 2010/11 designed to expand the company's various revenue sectors.

Mr. Casciola noted in his recent conference call to shareholders that "SCI has the potential and is poised to become the number-one media company in branding the professional salon industry to the public. To facilitate that objective, we intend to begin unfolding a multi-faceted media platform that includes content creation, publishing, online, digital and new educational programs directed to top salons in the United States who are selected to become participating members of our emerging network. The testing phase has already begun with key HOT 100 Salons beginning to retail our media. We will continue growing this network organically, one salon at a time, to assure that we have the very best involved and committed to our programs."

In the testing phase, Salon City, Inc.'s branding model relies on a proprietary mix of media and marketing, each element synergistically reinforcing the other. Within this model, the company can generate revenue in multiple ways, including: advertising, sponsorships, membership fees, media sales and product and event sales.

Projected revenue can be further driven by the benefit to manufacturers, distributors and salons participating in SCI's media initiatives (magazines, television, and Internet) and local and national events (both consumer and industry).
