Sarissa Resources Inc. Announces Further SE Zone Drilling Results

OAKVILLE, ON--(Marketwire - April 7, 2010) -  Sarissa Resources Inc. ("Sarissa" or the "Company") (PINKSHEETS: SRSR), is pleased to announce that the analytical results from diamond drill hole DDH-10-81 continue to confirm the presence of anomalous Nb2O5 mineralization within the South East (SE) Zone of the Nemegosenda niobium property.

DDH-10-81 was located within the SE Zone in order to confirm historic exploration in this area. The SE Zone was originally identified and drilled by Dominion Gulf Company in the late 1950s to test an area of high magnetic response located in pyroxenitic and malignitic rocks. This area is located about 1.5 kilometers south east of the main Hawke (formerly the "D") Zone. Approximately 2900 meters of drilling was completed in the SE Area by Gulf at that time.

In 1987, Musto Explorations Ltd. undertook an exploration program concentrating on the SE Zone to follow-up on Gulf's reported occurrence of Rare Earth mineralization that is associated with the niobium mineralization in this area. Musto retrieved 9 of Gulf's drill cores from this area and split and re-assayed these. The results obtained in Musto's re-assaying program were consistent with those reported by Gulf's 1955/56 drill program in the same area.

Sarissa's results from DDH-10-81 are consistent with those obtained by Gulf and with the re-assaying program performed by Musto. The hole was drilled at a bearing of 115 degrees and at an inclination of -45 degrees. It was spotted between Gulf's holes 55-31 and 55-33, to a length of approximately 230 meters, lending further credence to the historically reported results. Of significance, the entire length of the hole returned an overall grade of 0.35% Nb2O5 over 224m, from 6 meters down-hole to 230 meters down-hole, and ended in mineralization.

Other significant results included:

0.47% Nb2O5 over 119 meters from 6 to 125 meters
194 ppm Ta2O5 over 73 meters from 51 to 124 meters
823 ppm Neodymium (Nd) over 12 meters from 218 meters to the end of the hole
