Saskatchewan Centennial Knife Design Contest

Saskatchewan Wildlife federation and will create a limited edition of winning design Attention: Arts/Entertainment Editor, Media Editor, News Editor, Sports Editor, Travel/Tourism Editor SASKATOON, SASKATCHEWAN--(CCNMatthews - June 11, 2005) - The Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation, in conjunction with, is pleased to announce an exciting knife design contest in celebration of Saskatchewan's centennial. How would you like to see your knife creation become a reality?
Through the artistic abilities of Kevin Donald, a hand crafting knife designer from McTaggart, Saskatchewan, the winning design will become a Saskatchewan collector's edition knife celebrating the true spirit of this great province. Once the winning design is chosen, Kevin will produce only 250 of this limited edition knife. A portion from the sale of every Centennial knife will go to support the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation's Youth Education Programs.
The contest is open to everyone 18 years of age and older; so let your creativity loose and sketch out an entry by Aug. 5, 2005 to be eligible.
The top five designs will be posted on on Aug. 17, 2005 for public voting. Votes can be cast until midnight Aug. 31, 2005 with the winner being announced on Saskatchewan's 100th birthday - September 4, 2005. The winning designer receives the very first knife created in the series.
