SatMAX Expands Its Vertical Market Strategy

Targets Satellite Communications Opportunities in the Aircraft Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Avionics Industries

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - August 20, 2010) -  SatMAX Corp. (PINKSHEETS: SATM), a leading global provider of wireless, non-line-of-sight satellite communications products and services to the $46 billion ground-based satellite communications industry, announced today that it is expanding its aviation vertical market strategy to generate new growth opportunities related to the deployment of its successful Alpha EMS Portable satellite communications repeater. The company will also hire or partner with industry participants to develop this important vertical market.

SatMAX is making strategic investments in support of these three new markets, targeting a formal launch by the end of this year.
