ROCKVILLE, MD--(Marketwire - April 15, 2010) - Savantage Solutions has been awarded a three-year task order to provide program support services to the Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO-EIS) Project Manager Network Service Center (PM NSC). This multi-million dollar task order is for one year with two one-year options.
The task order was awarded by the National Capital Region Contracting Center under the Program Management Support Services - 2 (PMSS2) contract vehicle, for which Savantage is a small business prime.
The PM NSC Program acquires and fields the Army's worldwide installation level telecommunications/information infrastructure (voice and data switches and outside cable plant), including the hardware and software required for Enterprise Solutions, through the Installation Information Infrastructure Modernization Program (I3MP).
NSC also provides core LandWarNet data backbone and telecommunications infrastructure upgrades and modernizations to worldwide Army installations in support of Reachback, Global Information Grid (GIG), GIG Bandwidth Expansion (GIG-BE), and Net-Centricity.
Under this task order, Savantage will provide a broad spectrum of services for NSC, such as Business Process Reengineering, Financial Support, Program Planning, Project Management Support, Administrative Support, Requirements Support, Acquisition Support, Contract Monitoring Support, Training Support, Information Technology Support, and many others.
Work is scheduled to start immediately.
