Say Nuth Khaw Yum Heritage Park/Indian Arm Provincial Park Draft Park Management Plan Unveiled

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 10, 2007) - The Tsleil-Waututh Nation and the Province of BC have been working collaboratively on the joint management of Say Nuth Khaw Yum Heritage Park / Indian Arm Provincial Park since 1998 with the signing of the Management Agreement.

In June 2006, the Management Board began developing a master plan that would identify long-term objectives and strategies for the management, conservation and recreational development of the Park over the next 10 to 15 years.

The Park Management Board will be hosting a series of public consultation meetings on the Draft Park Management Plan in the Tsleil-Waututh community on October 4, District of North Vancouver on October 10 and the Village of Belcarra on October 11, 2007.
