Scene Genesis Partner Program Seamlessly Connects Insurers and Claim Information Providers

Carriers and Partners Linked Through Single ASP Solution

ROCHESTER, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- September 21, 2006 -- Scene Genesis, Inc. (SGI) has launched the SceneConnect Partner Program for property-casualty information providers. Copart Auto Auctions, Carfax, Metro Reporting and Insurance Auto Auctions are the initial partners whose applications and data will be available to carriers through the program.

The Partner Program was created as a result of the overwhelming response to the recent launch of SceneConnect, which connects multiple outside systems to carrier systems through a single Web service.

Under the SceneConnect Partner Program, SGI will create and maintain a link between the partner's application and SceneConnect. SceneConnect will make all the data available from the partner's application to the carrier's internal systems. Having this information electronically integrated will help insurers adjust claims more accurately and promptly.

Partners just have to maintain one link with SGI instead of separate links for different customers. This will help them extend their services and increase the volume of electronic transactions.

"The SceneConnect Partner Program will provide a simple means of two-way communication between insurance companies and their outside partners," said Ian Cunningham, CEO of SGI. "Our partners recognize the competitive advantage of allowing carriers to rapidly send appropriate claims data via SceneConnect to them without building custom integrations."

SceneConnect also gives carriers a single environment to develop, deploy and manage their connections to information providers.

Initial partners pointed to both business and technology benefits.

"Our application and product offerings are constantly evolving. The Partner Program will alleviate many of the demands on our IT department during upgrades," said Vincent Mitz, SVP of Marketing at Copart. "The Copart connection to SceneConnect will be maintained by Scene Genesis so each SceneConnect client has the most up-to-date connection to our application at all times."

The program helps carriers slash expenses, experts say.

"The cost of technical integration is a major consideration for our customers and prospects," said Eric Nesson, Director of Sales at Carfax. "SceneConnect is an excellent opportunity for carriers to utilize new information providers such as Carfax without committing additional IT resources."

The Partner Program points the industry toward a more efficient way of automating claims information.

"The allied partner program between Scene Genesis and Insurance Auto Auctions will offer a seamless technology platform to the insurance marketplace," said Don Hermanek, Senior Vice President at Insurance Auto Auctions. "IAA has supported the development of this program and has actively participated in other important alliances that benefit the claims industry and we are excited about this opportunity to participate in the process of providing a more efficient claims solution to our vehicle providers."
