Scuderi Engine Prototype at the SAE 2010 Hybrid Vehicle Technologies Symposium

WEST SPRINGFIELD, MA and SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - February 2, 2010) - Featured next week at the SAE 2010 Hybrid Vehicle Technologies Symposium ( will be the Scuderi Air-Hybrid Engine, including a model of the first prototype simulating the new thermodynamic cycle called the Scuderi Cycle. The Scuderi Cycle is expected to be the most significant advance in internal combustion technology since the inception of the Otto Cycle over 130 years ago.

The SAE 2010 Hybrid Vehicle Technologies Symposium addresses the latest technical innovations in electric drives, motors, energy storage, and system engineering from the innovators of hybrid technology. The two-day show opens to the public on Feb. 10.

Engineers from Scuderi Group will discuss preliminary test results from
independent lab Southwest Research Institute that show significant
advantages of the Scuderi Air-Hybrid over the performance and cost of
electric hybrids.

A working cutaway model of the Scuderi Engine prototype -- the core of the
Scuderi Air-Hybrid Engine -- will be on display for the duration of the
SAE 2010 Hybrid Vehicle Technologies Symposium.
