The mysterious appearance in Vancouver of 30 colossal sculptures by world class artists like Bill Reid and Yoko Ono is about to be solved. Literally overnight huge pieces of art have been seen in Stanley Park, Granville Island, Coal Harbour and along city beaches and walkways creating a real stir in the city.

The answers to why these sculptures are here and what it means to British Columbia will be finally made clear at a media conference to be held Friday October 21st at the cross section of Bute and Cordova streets in Coal Harbour at 10:00AM. In attendance will be Minister of Tourism, Sport and the Arts, Hon. Olga Ilich; Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, The Hon. Dr. Hedy Fry; Vancouver City Councilor Jim Green and well known Canadian curator Barrie Mowatt.
