Security With Advanced Technology Delivers First Units of Its New Consumer Non-Lethal Personal Protection Device

Security With Advanced Technology Continues Development of Its Avurt™ IM-5™ Launcher

WESTMINSTER, CO--(Marketwire - October 5, 2007) - Security With Advanced Technology (NASDAQ: SWAT) announced today that its new and exclusive SWAT-C8, a non-lethal launcher for consumers, designed and manufactured by Tiberius Arms, a leading developer of air driven less-lethal weapons, is available for sale.

The new SWAT-C8 launcher is a pistol-sized personal-protection device that shoots up to eight .68 caliber PAVA filled projectiles at over 400 feet per second. The SWAT-C8's non-lethal PAVA filled projectiles deliver a significant impact and will cause an attacker's nose, throat and eyes to burn, temporarily disabling them. With a range of 75 feet the SWAT-C8 can stop an attacker at greater distances than conventional stun guns and pepper spray. The SWAT-C8's unique, patented, proprietary magazine design houses both its disposable CO2 canister and eight PAVA projectiles.

The SWAT-C8 was created by Security With Advanced Technology's military and law enforcement division, Veritas Tactical, and Tiberius Arms using Tiberius' patented, proprietary pneumatic air system and rapid change magazine.

"SWAT is pleased to be exclusively offering this type of technology for the first time to the consumer market," said Scott Sutton, president and CEO of Security With Advanced Technology. "We believe Tiberius Arms has developed an industry leading launcher for us and we are pleased to have the launchers available for sale today."

The SWAT-C8 is available and shipping to consumers today. The Avurt IM-5 launcher, which was originally set to ship in late August, has experienced engineering delays. The SWAT-C8 is available in blue or blaze orange and retails for $399.99. For more information about the SWAT-C8 launcher or to order please visit or call 1-877-692-8878.
