PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwire - November 13, 2009) - Everest Self Storage is known for their generous contributions to the Phoenix Fire Department Outreach Program over the last nine years, and this year is no different. The facility at 1025 E. Bell Road in Phoenix is helping fire victims by donating three storage units. Phoenix, AZ residents who have been victims of catastrophic fires need the help of the whole community, which is why Everest is doing its part.

Fire Department members and church leaders have taken up the cause to help the needy following a fire. According to Maria Bates, Facility Manager, a number of community leaders have accessed the storage facility, with the permission of the Outreach Program Directors of the Phoenix Fire Department to distribute necessary items to the victims of home fires. The items are collected through local drives and stored at the Everest Self Storage facility until they are distributed to the fire victims.

The City of Phoenix offers many outreach programs through the fire department and other branches of the city. With help from businesses like Everest Self Storage, they are able to provide assistance to more of those in need.
