Selling Source Creates New Consumer Acquisition Group; Taps Gary Fisher for Executive Vice President Position

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - December 2, 2008) - Chief Executive Officer Derek LaFavor announced today that Selling Source, LLC has created a new Consumer Acquisition Group headed by Gary Fisher, a highly regarded senior marketing executive who recently joined the company.

As executive vice president, Fisher will lead the group to increase consumer acquisition for Selling Source customers through traditional marketing channels not currently used by the Las Vegas-based company. These channels include direct response television/radio, print and out-of-home as well as direct-mail programs guiding consumers to call centers. In addition, the group will develop offline-to-online marketing channels in connection with PartnerWeekly, a Selling Source company offering complete performance marketing packages including online advertising offers to drive transactions for Web businesses.

With a marketing background that includes senior executive positions in consumer packaged goods, hospitality and financial services, Fisher has a successful track record of driving business results at blue-chip companies like Choice Hotels, Capital One, L'Oreal-Maybelline and Nabisco. At Capital One, where direct mail was the company's primary consumer acquisition tool, he achieved significant increases in response rates.

In his more than 20 years of strategic brand marketing and business development, Fisher has worked across multiple marketing categories in online and offline channels, including extensive radio and television advertising, DRTV, direct mail and promotional outreach. He was a chief architect of Choice Hotels' highly successful co-branded card program with VISA/Bank of America.

"Gary is an established industry veteran in direct and mass consumer marketing who can maintain our thriving business-development momentum while taking it in new, important ancillary directions," LaFavor said. "His outstanding experience and intellectual assets make him a perfect fit for Selling Source."

Fisher earned an MBA degree in marketing from University of Connecticut and a bachelor's in education, cum laude, at State University of New York, Cortland, where he was an All-American track-and-field athlete.
