"September Dawn" Theatrical Release Moved to Aug. 24, 2007

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - June 7, 2007) - The theatrical release of Christopher Cain's "September Dawn," originally set to open June 22, has moved its opening to Aug. 24, 2007, to allow for a less competitive time. On Aug. 24 the film will open in 800 to 1,000 theaters in the U.S. and Canada.

"September Dawn" is a Romeo and Juliet love story told against the background of the real-life infamous Mountain Meadows Massacre in which 120 men, women and children pioneers were massacred by Mormons in Utah on September 11, 1857. The film stars Jon Voight, Trent Ford, Tamara Hope, Lolita Davidovich, Dean Cain and Terence Stamp.

The Black Diamond Pictures release was directed and co-produced by Christopher Cain ("Young Guns"). Screenplay is by Carole Whang Schutter and Christopher Cain.
