New features of SevOne's PAS 4.0 release include:
- User Interface: The PAS 4.0 interface is the most intuitive and easiest-to-use to date. The tool's reporting engine has been enhanced enabling users to add, drag, resize, edit, or remove reporting widgets on the fly. Reporting widgets can also be instantly converted to PDF.
- Dashboard: The new PAS 4.0 dashboard is fully customizable and can be defined for various audiences (executives, managers, administrators, and operators). It also includes access controls, which are especially useful for managed service providers who need custom views for individual customers. SevOne consolidates granular performance data from various data sources such as NetFlow, SNMP, VoIP, IP SLA, NBAR and WMI onto this unified dashboard. - Reduced Bandwidth: SevOne has reduced the inter-appliance bandwidth by 10 times. This feature is extremely useful to customers with multiple network appliances.
